Once an order has been processed by Coldcart's system, clients are able to re-process the order to update any combination of the below properties:
Fulfillment Center (Origin)
Service Level
Maximum Time in Transit Allowed
Order Contents
Ship-to Address
Note: If an order is in fulfilling status and a wave summary has already been sent to the fulfillment center, please confirm with the fulfillment center (FC) that the order has not been fulfilled before re-processing. Depending on your FC's process, it may be best to archive the original wave summary and send a new wave summary to the FC for that day's orders. Please confirm with your FC how they would like to receive the changed order(s).
Re-process an Individual Order
Locate the specific order you'd like to re-process from the Orders page and click the hyperlinked Coldcart ID:
On the resulting page, click the dropdown to the right of Report Anomaly in the upper right corner, then click Re-process:
A side bar will appear allowing you to update a specific order as desired:
Note that if updating Order Items or Shipping Address, you must click their respective Save buttons after making any changes, then Submit Order:
Once re-processed, your original order (including shipping label and picklist) will be cancelled and a new Coldcart ID, shipping label and picklist will be generated.
Re-processing Orders in Bulk
If multiple orders need re-processed, requiring the same changes applied to each order, you have the option of bulk re-processing. Select the Orders you'd like to bulk re-process by checking their box on the Orders page:
A Cancel Orders button will appear, and from the dropdown to it's right, you'll find the option to Reprocess:
βNote: when re-processing orders in bulk, neither Order Items nor Shipping Address can be modified. To update those properties, refer to the steps above for updating an individual order.
Manually Creating a Wave Summary
After re-processing an order, you may want to create a wave summary and send it to the fulfillment center before the next wave summary is automatically created. To do this:
Locate the specific order(s) you'd like to re-process from the Orders page and click the button on the lefthand side:
A Cancel Orders button will appear, and from the dropdown, you'll find the option to Create a Wave Summary:
In the Wave Summaries Page, you will see the new wave summary that was processed under "Wave Summaries"
Download the wave summary in question and MANUALLY send it FROM YOUR REGULAR EMAIL CLIENT to the same email addresses that receive your normal wave summaries (found when you click into the auto-generated Wave Summary Schedules at the top of the page).
